Katherine Lee studied a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws degree at Australian National University in 2017 and is now a Graduate at the Department of Infrastructure, Regional Development and Cities in Canberra.
My main project over the course of my vacation program included creating a commercial induction for the departments onsite, as well as helping with the changeover of accounts payable (AP) systems.
The coolest thing about my job is getting to work with many stakeholders across such a span of the mine lifecycle. We are involved in exploration planning, long and short-term mine planning, operations, hazard management and mine closure.
I love working with data. I spend a lot of time on Excel and our trending software looking for patterns and trying to understand what’s happening in the process.
