WCT Advisory is a specialist restructuring and insolvency firm, which was set up in July 2019 by two experienced partners. We are currently based in Brisbane and Adelaide and focus on providing commercial and practical solutions to clients suffering from financial distress.

We work with a wide range of clients and across several industries assisting accountants, legal and other professional advisors, financial institutions and their clients. 

WCT Advisory are well known for being approachable with the experience to navigate and provide realistic solutions for even the most unique of situations.

Unlike other insolvency firms, we are also skilled at providing advice to business owners and directors about their options, recommended course of action and assist them with executing a strategy to achieve the best result.

Recruitment Process

The steps in WCT Advisory's recruitment process include:

  • Application (please provide CV, cover letter and academic transcript)
  • Initial in-person or online interview (within 2 weeks of applying, with Managing Partner)
  • Basic accounting test (during initial interview)
  • Second in-person interview (with Managing Partner and likely either Associate Director or Consulting Partner)

Successful candidates will have:

  • Completed (or will shortly) university in accounting/business/commerce degree;
  • Be looking to commence or have commenced your CA ANZ/CPA studies;
  • Have excellent time management and organisational skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
    Strong numerical skills and attention to detail;
  • High level of self-motivation and desire to learn;
    A strong foundation in the Microsoft Suite;
    Strong MS Excel skills; and
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

An attractive remuneration package ($60,000 plus superannuation start) will be negotiated commensurate with your qualifications and experience, and future promotion opportunities will depend on your performance.
