Gender Equality at Service Stream

We seek to be a leader in the equal opportunity space

We seek to be a leader in the equal opportunity space and are always working on our internal  policies and procedures to increase the number of  women employees in our organisation. We strive to ensure our approach to recruitment, development and engagement ensures a welcoming, safe and fulfilling experience for women at Service Stream, and continually build our gender equity platforms to attract and retain the best calibre of female talent.

Female employees at Service Stream  have access to a range of programs to support their career progression at Service Stream, including the Women Leading  Program, the Mentor Program and the Women’s Network @ Service Stream. We also have equity policies designed to support female employees, such as personal, maternity and carer’s leave, domestic violence leave, cultural leave and flexible working arrangements and through role design providing flexible work opportunities in all roles.

Women Leading Program

In July 2022, we established our Women Leading Program, a dynamic women’s leadership program that builds heightened personal and professional self-awareness to broaden leadership impact. The program actively builds a network of women leaders who support, coach and mentor each other. It includes

five workshops and three coaching sessions, delivered both face-to-face and virtually, over a six-month period. More than 60 women leaders have participated in the program, with overwhelmingly positive  feedback. The participants of the program join a Women Leading community who have the opportunity to become mentors to other women across Service Stream.

Women’s Network @ Service Stream

The Women’s Network @ Service Stream aims to connect and encourage women across the business network. The focus is to provide a platform for women to talk about issues that affect them specifically, and these can include both personal and professional issues. The Women’s Network is a tremendous opportunity for the women at Service Stream to connect, identify shared challenges and solutions, engage in their own development and engagement at work via an ongoing series of structured in-person and virtual events.
