Your role

Ampol is inviting you to be part of their excellent 2-year program within the Commercial Fuels and Energy business unit. As a Data and Analytics Graduate, you’ll have the unique opportunity to gain insights into the overall data and analytics life cycle of an ASX-listed business.

You’ll be part of a dynamic team that operates in an agile environment while also gaining first-hand experience in managing a large and diverse stakeholder group. This role offers flexibility to work from home.

About you

Are you a highly motivated graduate currently studying Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology or Information Systems?

To be successful, you will be entering your final year of study in 2024 or completed your undergraduate within the last two years and will be available to commence full-time employment in February 2025. They seek individuals who showcase strong analytical skills, good financial acumen and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment.

The Data and Analytics Graduate will be an individual who has familiarity with systems like visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau), databases (e.g. SQL) and programming (e.g. Python, R).

You will have excellent academic results, be curious to learn and be eager to develop your professional career.

Training, development & rotations

Hired on a permanent full-time basis, you’ll complete four 6-month rotations across the respective business units where you will learn and develop under the guidance of Leaders and teams. The Leaders bring strong technical expertise, cross-functional experience, and a commercial focus that propels the business forward and they are dedicated to passing on their knowledge to the next generation, which could be you!

You will also be provided learning opportunities and career development including LinkedIn Learning and other tailored training solutions.
